Description
Imperial caviar from Spain — Siberian sturgeon
Imperial caviar is our Siberian sturgeon caviar (Acipenser baerii) from a certified farm in the mountains of Aragon, Spain, prepared to Malossol standard. It delivers the characteristic qualities of well-farmed Siberian roe: clean, savoury, with a satisfying brininess and a reliable, pleasing texture — the same standard, tin after tin.
Raised in the mountains of Aragon
Imperial comes from a sturgeon farm high in the mountains of Aragon, in north-eastern Spain, where three rivers meet: two cold mountain rivers at 13–17 °C and a warm underground river that stays at 20–22 °C all year round. Together with the farm’s own water purification and temperature-controlled wintering zones, they keep conditions as close to nature as possible — natural seasonal temperatures, changing water flow and clean, mineral-rich water.
The sturgeon are fed a protein-rich diet based on krill, fishmeal and fish oil that mirrors what they eat in the wild, and are raised without antibiotics or hormones. Feed, water and caviar are checked daily by the Spanish sanitary authorities.
The character of Imperial caviar
Clean and savoury with a satisfying briny depth. Medium-sized dark roe, firm and well formed, with a smooth finish. A balanced caviar that is easy to love — a confident choice for first-time guests and seasoned connoisseurs alike.
Three sizes: 30g, 50g and 125g
- 30g — serves 1–2. A personal indulgence, or part of a larger spread.
- 50g — serves 2–3. A proper first course for two or a generous appetiser.
- 125g — serves 4–6. The hosting tin: guests serve freely, without rationing.
How to serve Imperial caviar
Serve chilled on crushed ice with blinis and crème fraîche, or as a canapé on a cucumber round. Use a mother-of-pearl spoon rather than metal to keep the flavour pure. A chilled Chablis, dry Champagne or sparkling wine complements it perfectly.
Storage and delivery
Keep refrigerated at -2 to +2 °C and enjoy within 1–3 days of opening. Unopened, follow the best-before date printed on each tin. Every order is delivered free across Singapore, 24/7, in a thermal bag with ice packs.
