Description
Beluga Baku Caviar — Huso huso from Azerbaijan
Beluga Baku is Halal-certified Beluga caviar from Huso huso sturgeon, raised on a certified farm in the Baku region of Azerbaijan and prepared to the Malossol standard. It is offered in 30g, 50g and 125g tins.
The character of Beluga Baku
Smooth, glossy pearls with a deeply buttery character, complex mineral notes and a long, satisfying finish — the signature of Beluga, with the distinctive expression of its Azeri origin. Lightly salted and never pasteurised, the roe keeps its natural texture.
Three sizes of Beluga Baku
- 30g — a personal indulgence, one generous serving.
- 50g — an evening for two.
- 125g — the centrepiece tin, serving four to six.
As a guide, allow about 25–30g per guest when caviar is served on its own.
How to serve Beluga Baku
Chill the tin and open it just before serving, ideally on crushed ice. Use a mother-of-pearl caviar spoon — metal alters the taste. Enjoy it on its own, or with warm blinis and crème fraîche, alongside chilled Champagne or a premium vodka.
Halal, CITES and responsibly sourced
Beluga Baku is Halal-certified and supplied with documentation under CITES, the international convention that governs the trade in sturgeon caviar. As stated on the tin, every purchase restores ten sturgeon to the wild.
